The CAN modules of the CST product line are built for decentralized input/output in measuring, control and automation uses. Their compact and rugged structure with completely enclosed electronics allows the use not only in a control box but also in proximity of the process. The way of building in connection with fine clarity offers the possibility to implement decentralized control solutions consistently. Through the integrated microcontroller CST modules can perform preprocessing functions independently. In many cases, they help to lower the costs for control hardware and installation while offering an increase of flexibility at the same time.
CST modules are available with a wide range of different functions. In addition to digital input/output with different turn-off levels, analog inputs/outputs, incremental encoder and a digital motor controller are available.
